Camping Reservations

Description

Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, wood stove for heat & an outside toilet. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 - September 30 and a maximum stay of 10 consecutive nights per party October 1 - April 30. The person holding the reservation for this cabin must be at least 18 years of age, and must be a member of the party using the cabin. There are no discounts for Golden Age/Access passports for Alaska cabin rentals. Proximity: Serves as halfway point when traveling around Revillagigedo Island. Wildlife viewing, fishing for salmon, halibut, red snapper and shrimp; black & brown bears may be encountered at this cabin. Beach access varies with tides, unexpected weather may cause extension of stay - bring extra supplies and plan accordingly. Cabin is located at sea level, forested setting on mainland, spectacular views from front deck of mountains. A 12' X 14' Pan - Abode cabin, two single/ two double bunks, woodstove, outhouse and mooring buoy.

Ketchikan AK

Approximately 50 air miles north of Ketchikan, located on mainland shore of Anchor Pass across from the east end of Bell Island. Accessible by floatplane or by boat. Mooring Buoy is provided at the site. Refer to USGS Ketchikan D-5.
