Description:
Deerlick Creek Campground is located on Holt Lake northeast of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The damming of the Black Warrior River formed the lake and provides opportunities for water related activities and other outdoor recreation for the public. Holt Lake offers areas for campers, boaters, swimmers, picnickers, hikers, and sightseers. Deerlick Creek Campground has 46 sites, 40 with electric and water hookups and 6 primitive sites. Additional amenities include a dump station, laundry facilities, hot showers, a boat ramp, pay phone, playground, multi-purpose court, fishing piers, a group shelter, swimming beach, hiking trails, and a paved bicycle trail.

From I-59, take Hwy 82 West (McFarland Blvd) 4.2 miles to CR 30 (Rice Mine RD). Turn left at the stoplight onto Rice Mine Rd. Turn right at the stoplight onto CR 46 (New Watermelon Road) and follow it for 3.4 miles. Turn right at stop sign onto CR 42 (Lake Nicol Road), follow Lake Nicol Rd for 3.4 miles to CR 89 (Deerlick Rd). Turn right onto Deerlick Rd and follow Deerlick 3.2 miles to Deerlick Park.
