Description
Proximity: Located on Black Warrior River just outside of Eutaw, about 36 miles south of Tuscaloosa and approximately 30 miles north of Demopolis. Environment: Woodlands, Tombigbee River. Weather: Temerature range from the 80s to 90s in the summer months April to September, annual rainfall averages about 60 inches. Activities: River fishing. Reservation Information:
-Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
-This park requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends.
-This park requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends.
-Check-out time is 3:00 pm. Check-in time is 4:00 pm.
-Campers will not be allowed to stay beyond the 14-day period on any site within the park without obtaining a Camper Extension For, which can be retrieved at the campground gatehouse. Extensions during peak seasons will may only be granted for a maximum of (7) days for the following reasons:
1) Urgent medical needs of the campers or family members
2) Imminent severe weather
3) Vehicle failure
4) Low or anticipated low visitation
Campground Information:
-Attendants are on duty.
-ATV's and ORV's are not allowed to be driven in the park.
-Electric and gas scooters are not allowed in the park unless they have been authorized by the Demopolis Site Office. Please call (334) 289-3540 for authorization. If authorized, scooters will only be utilized for transportation to and from bath houses, not to tour the park.
-Due to park restrictions, campers are limited to 2 vehicles per site. Any additional vehicles will be charged an extra vehicle fee, which will be collected at the park.
-Eight person maximum per site for overnight stay; A maximum of four visitors are allowed per site and will be charged a visitors fee upon arrival.
-Pets are not allowed in the restrooms and must be kept on a six-foot leash.
-Please be sure to completely extinguish fires and deposit all garbage in park dumpsters.
**Beginning January 2009, the campground will no longer distribute garbage bags to campers**

From Interstate 20/59, take exit 40 (Eutaw/Aliceville, Hwy 14 Exit) towards Eutaw. Follow Hwy 14 signs. Park is approximately 9 miles. From Demopolis, take Hwy 43 North towards Eutaw. At Hwy 14 take a right, the park is approximately 7 miles.
