DescriptionYou'll have no trouble losing your cares at this KOA. You will soon understand why so many come here and never want to leave. You will hear nature all around you, from the birds that abound to the waves lapping on our shoreline. The sunrises you will see from our waterview sites, kabins, lodges and pier are beyond breathtaking. Dolphins often swim by our pier and what a special treat that is. We are a little off the beaten path but it is well worth the trip to enjoy the peace and quiet of this "off the interstate" park. Ease into our long, easy pull thru's, super sites, brand new waterview sites, waterfront and hillside air-conditioned Kamping Kabins and our NEW waterview 2 bedroom Lodges, complete with kitchen, and bathroom. We are always improving our park for your pleasure. Located on beautiful Perdido Bay, we are a true waterfront campgrounds. You can fish from our lighted pier or bring your boat. By summer of 2009 we will have a new boat launch and slips that will make launching your boat easy and convenient. You'll love swimming in our NEW saltwater pool or just relaxing in our hot tub area. Beachcomb, sunbathe and swim at the white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast, only minutes away. We are the closest KOA to the gulf beaches. The world famous FLORA-BAMA bar is nearby. On Saturday nights, we offer karaoke and ice cream socials. Snowbirds, come spend a few days or all winter. With organized activities and a large kitchen - equipped rec room, you can relax and make new friends. Fishermen and boaters park your rigs and visit on the weekends enjoying our special seasonal rates. We are just a few miles from NAS home of the famous Blue Angels who perform in July and November. We welcome motorcycle enthusiasts, family re-unions, groups and camping clubs. Alerts and Important InformationRV/TENT SITES: To guarantee your kampsite, a deposit for your first night will be charged to your credit card when you resere. TO CANCEL: 48 hours required. Notify your KOA by 4pm TWO days before your scheduled arrival and receive your deposit refund minus a $10 fee KAMPING KABINS/LODGES: To guarantee your kabin/lodge, a deposit for the full amount will be charged to your credit card when you reserve. TO CANCEL: 7 days required. Notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival and receive your deposit refund minus $20 fee RESERVATIONS made after these deadlines require NON-REFUNDABLE deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits. Getting There:Gulf Shores / Pensacola West KOA33951 Spinnaker Drive Lillian AL 36549 From I-10 heading east, take Alabama Exit 44 (59 South) to the Beach Express. Turn left and go to 98, turn left and go 14 miles to 99 just before the bridge. Turn right and go 2 miles. From I-10 heading west, take Florida Exit 7, turn left and go to Blue Angel (173), turn right and go to 98, turn right and go 7 miles. Cross the bridge and turn left at light (99) and go 2 miles. |
