Amelia Island offers a wide variety of angling opportunities for both family fishing fun and the hard core, "Big Game" angler.

Visitors to Amelia Island Plantation will have the opportunity to cast for lagoon snook, tarpon, redfish, and largemouth bass, while families can enjoy fishing for bream, catfish and bass, often times right from the backyard of their villa!

Deep sea fishermen will have the opportunity to reel in a wide variety of saltwater species within a short boat ride from the St. Mary's inlet.

However, if you enjoy backwater fishing, Amelia Island is the spot to test your angling skills! Freshwater fishing is also excellent in the many freshwater rivers and lakes of Northeast Florida.

The Amelia Angler can schedule fishing and sailing charters, group charters to Cumberland Island and the "Dungeness" ruins, catered cocktail cruises and family fishing fun.
