of Florida, is an Aquatic Preserve.It encompasses
1)Cape San Blas, voted the #1 beach in the
world for its natural beauty and serenity,
May 2000, 2)St. Joe Bay with 10 square miles
of sand and grass flats that produces a
wide array of unique sealife, 3) Indian
Pass and Indian Lagoon, known for it's oyster
bars, 'early-people', and redfish, and 4)
St. Vincent Island, a natural jewel in the
"Isles of the Saints" barrier chain. For
now this area has been spared the over-development
that seems to close in around us. Here,
you can paddle along "the most beautiful
beaches in the world", stopping for shelling
and/or driftwood excursions, on your own
"private" beach.
