The Ten Thousand Islands, which includes Chokoloskee and Everglades City, is one of nature's most beautiful places. Warm wet summers and dry, nearly frost-free, winters encourage the growth of many tropical plants, originally transported here from the Caribbean tropics by wind, water and birds.  Most animals, on the other hand, are from the temperate zone.  This mixing of tropical and temperate zone life, in a subtropical climate, has resulted in the survival of many rare species of birds, reptiles and other animals unique to the United States.

CHOKOLOSKEE ISLAND PARK is located in the heart of the 10,000 Islands. Our facilities include a full service marina, 11 newly renovated efficiencies, and 22 overnight RV/Tent sites. Whether camping, fishing or just enjoying the sunshine, we have the accommodations for you.
