Ginnie Springs Outdoor

By far, Ginnie Springs' greatest attraction is its natural beauty. The park comprises over 200 acres of pristine forest and pasture land, nestled along the south bank of the Santa Fe River in North Central Florida. Seven separate springs dot the edge of the river. Each day, these springs discharge hundreds of millions gallons of crystal-clear water that is a constant 72 degrees, year round. The clear, blue spring water provides a stark contrast to the dark, tannin-stained Santa Fe River.

Wilderness sites are scattered throughout our 200 wooded acres and include many river-front and spring sites.  Most sites have a grill and a picnic table.  Running water available on some sites.

Ginnie Springs OutdoorGINNIE SPRINGS OUTDOORS is open every day of the year.  Campers may enter the park 24 hours a day and register at the camp store during regular hours or at the gate after store hours.
Reminder:  Campers entering the park before 8:00 a.m. will be charged for the previous night's camping.Checkout time for campers is 8 pm (daylight savings) or 6 pm (winter)

Electric & Water Sites

There are 90 campsites with electricity and water hookups right across from the country store. These sites may be reserved and reservations are recommended to insure you will have a site. Check availability and make reservations by calling (386) 454-7188.

Reserving a campsite with electricity and water requires a $25.00 deposit ($45.00 for holiday weekends) so have your credit card ready when you call. Your reserved site is available when we open at 8:00 am.

Conveniently located just 15 minutes west of Interstate 75, Ginnie Springs Outdoors is easily accessible from all major routes entering and exiting Florida. Visitors traveling to or from Florida's Keys, Gulf or Gold Coasts--or any of the Orlando-area attractions--will find that Ginnie Springs is right on their way. Ginnie Springs Outdoors is within a two-hour drive of Orlando, Jacksonville and Tallahassee airports, and just 40 minutes from the nearby Gainesville airport. Rental cars are readily available at all four locations.
