Chipola River & Spring Creek
Start your trip on beautiful Spring Creek. This
winding stream of crystal clear water is about two
miles long. It then empties into the Chipola River
for another one and three fourths miles. This trip
will take you about two hours on a canoe and three
hours on a tube. (Float time not paddle time) You
can easily make a day out of this trip. Just be
back at Bear Paw before dark. When you reach the
twin bridges at I-10 you are almost finished. This
river is patrolled by regularly by the Fish & Game
Officers!!!
