INSHORE

Under the watchful eye of Capt Jim, redfish can be seen 'tailing' in the grass flats. During these flood tides you will quietly stalk a 'tailer' to get in casting range. If your presence is discovered, the redfish will be gone. A well presented fly or hopping plastic jig will take even the most wary of reds. An occasional sheephead foraging for food in the grass will also challenge your angling prowess.

From brown shrimp to giant game fish, the waters of Amelia Island are fertile beyond belief. Roaming schools of redfish ghost along the sandy flats, ready almost always for an easy meal. Spotted sea trout move hungrily over and around the oyster bars with the tides and will take artificial lures or live shrimp.

OFFSHORE

Offshore fishing is a real treat with Jimmy. Fishing out of his 23' Donzi center console, dolphin, kingfish, wahoo and tuna are plentiful and easy to find for a full-time guide like Jimmy, not to mention the Red Snapper and Grouper
